How to Replace Mitsubishi DLP Lamps
Mitsubishi is a name brand that is well known for producing some of the best electronics in the world. They make some great television sets. People that like watching HDTV on the biggest screens around particularly like the Mitsubishi rear screen projection television sets. These sets let you watch movies with a crystal clear picture on a huge television screen. If you have one of these Mitsubishi screens, you've probably spent hours watching sports, movies or television shows and really enjoyed the impeccable video that these sets are famous for.
After some time, rear projection television pictures will begin to degrade a bit. You may notice that the picture on your screen is not as clear or defined as it used to be. This technology was created by Texas Instruments in the eighties and is commonly used in rear projection television sets today. DLP lamps produce digitally controlled light sequences to produce the best pictures available on rear projection television screens. After thousands of hours of viewing, every DLP lamp will need to be replaced. It's best to try and replace the DLP lamp before your old lamp goes completely out so you're not without television for a long period of time.
Replacing Mitsubishi DLP Lamps
If you feel anxious about the idea of working on electronic devices, like your television, there is no need to worry. It is very easy to replace Mitsubishi DLP lamps. The entire process only takes a few minutes and the only tool you will need is a simple Phillips head screwdriver.
Here are the replacement steps:
Refer to the television's documentation to find the access panel on your set. This panel is usually on the back of the set and can be removed by unscrewing two small screws.
After you have removed the panel, look directly in front of you. The DLP lamp will be right there, held in place by two small screws.
Remove the screws and gently pull the Mitsubishi DLP lamp out.
Put the new lamp into place and gently push it in. Then screw in the two small screws.
Replace the access panels and the screws holding it in place.
You should now turn your television set back on and notice that your old, crystal clear picture has returned. You have learned to easily replace Mitsubishi DLP lamps.
